Terms of Service
Last updated: June 20, 2026
1. Agreement
By using Volt, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, don't use the app. We may update these terms over time; meaningful changes will be communicated via email and in-app notice before they take effect.
2. The service
Volt is a companion app for Tesla owners. It connects to your Tesla account through Tesla's official APIs and surfaces insights about your vehicle. Volt is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Tesla, Inc.
3. Subscription, billing, refunds
Volt Pro is a paid subscription managed through the Apple App Store. Pricing is shown in-app at signup. You may cancel any time from your Apple account; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple. We can't issue refunds directly — please use Apple's "Report a Problem" flow.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Volt to control someone else's Tesla without their permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Volt's output
- Probe, scan, or attempt to disrupt our infrastructure
5. Limitation of liability
Volt is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it accurate, but data quality depends on Tesla's telemetry feeds and our own services, both of which can have outages or gaps. Don't use Volt as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions about your vehicle.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
6. Termination
You can stop using Volt and delete your account at any time from in-app settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operating entity is registered. The specific jurisdiction will be confirmed before launch.
